An invitation to all Dexter breeders ... help us to establish the Aussie Dexter trail ...

Since establishment of this website we have been talking to a lot of interstate, intrastate and some people from overseas. Some of these contacts have led into meeting them personally and organising for them Dexter studs to look at. For example, twelve months ago a New Zealand family came over for a holiday. We organised for them to go to a couple of studs. We had a lot to compare and talk about in regard to climates, property techniques, feed, shows etc. And today, through email, we continue to communicate and exchange photos. You too can meet them, if you haven't already, through our Gallery.

So, we thought it would be a worthwhile and beneficial idea to put together an Australian Dexter Stud map, for travellers to visit and meet other Dexter owners and their animals. This is an interesting way of learning, talking, observing, discussing, and comparing how other breeders do things.

We are 23km north of Bundaberg and adjoin Rosedale road (a main route Bundy-Gladstone). We have 12 breeders and 2 bulls (1 shortleg and 1 long). We have a lifelong association with cattle and are now heading towards retirement with cattle that are pleasant to have and easy to handle. All visitors are welcome and we love to discuss Dexters and other worldly matters over a coffee or cool drink.
